About the Program

Our Mission

The Pharmaceutical Sciences Mentorship Program was made to help freshman students ease the transition from high school to a university. To achieve this, we aim to cultivate mentors who will guide incoming freshmen students through their first year at UCI and foster long-term mentor-mentee relationships.

Mentoring

Our program gives first-year and transfer students the opportunity to be paired with a current PharmSci student. Not only will they get the chance to gain deeper insight on the campus, its resources, programs and their major, they will also create lasting friendships with their mentor and other mentees.

Socials & Workshops

Every quarter, we hold social events and classroom workshops that we encourage the mentees and mentors to attend. At these events, students are provided with opportunities to interact with other students in the PharmSci major as well as take a break from academics. Check out our Calendar for when the next one is!
